Work Counts and the Wise Group are pleased to welcome Kristina Carlsson Stylianides to Aotearoa New Zealand for a seminar sharing experiences from Sweden on the implementation of two evidence-based practices, IPS employment support and Housing First.
Date: Monday, 23 June 2025
Time: 2pm – 3.30pm
Location: Harakeke House, 15 Ronwood Avenue, Manukau
About the seminar
Kristina will give a presentation based on her doctoral research, the “Take Away” study, which has focused on the implementation of Housing First and IPS in three Swedish municipalities, identifying ‘de-implementation’ efforts where needed.
As well as findings from her research, there will be time for a Q&A session and networking with Kristina.
Kristina’s presentation will include:
- Recurring barriers/mechanisms that generate inequality, and counteract the implementation of IPS and Housing First in Sweden
- Theoretical tools to understand such barriers/mechanisms
- A growing framework for ‘de-implementation’ – offering practical insights into transforming how we approach social and mental health work.
