What would it take to raise levels of access to IPS employment support for adults seen by secondary mental health and addiction teams, to reach ‘full coverage’?
This was the ambition posed by the IPS employment support national steering group in 2019, when they developed Honouring Aspirations, a plan for IPS employment support scale-up in Aotearoa New Zealand.
We wanted to be intentional about supporting the expansion of IPS with a plan that was cross-sector and cross-government.
A project facilitated by Work Counts, the plan outlined the context, opportunities, governance and implementation support that would be needed.
This Honouring Aspirations summary provides an overview of the plan, why it’s needed and the level of scale-up required.
