This interactive workshop focuses on strengthening in-work and post-placement support to help people not only gain employment, but stay well and succeed in mahi over time. Grounded in IPS principles and informed by fidelity reviews, the session explores meaningful supports that respond to real workplace challenges.
This training is suitable for:
- employment consultants and job coaches
- IPS practitioners and support workers
- peer workers and clinical team members
- service leaders
- anyone supporting people going into employment or already in a job.
Learning objectives
The learning objectives include:
- understanding the value of in-work and post-placement supports
- relevant IPS fidelity expectations for follow along support
- common workplace challenges and how they impact wellbeing and job retention
- strengthening skills in support network mapping and coordination
- building practical, individualised in-work support plans, and celebrating progress.
